At the invitation of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Shams Al-Insaniya Organization for Women and Children participated in the conference launching the Local Leadership Enhancement Strategy for the IOM Mission in Iraq for the years 2025–2027.

Since 2022, the IOM has been working with more than 100 civil society organizations to support initiatives that strengthen the role of local partners in leading projects and programs within the provinces.

The event was attended by representatives of international organizations, the central government, the Director General of the NGO Directorate, and several local organizations.

It is worth noting that Shams Al-Insaniya Organization has taken part in various initiatives aimed at supporting and protecting the environment in Anbar and Salah al-Din provinces.
