Shams Al-Insaniya Organization for Women and Children conducted an awareness seminar titled “Our Climate… Our Future” in cooperation with the Ozone Network and with the support of the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) and the Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA), as part of ongoing efforts to enhance awareness of climate change and its impact on society and the environment.
The seminar addressed the most significant environmental challenges facing our communities, including environmental pollution, water scarcity, desertification, waste accumulation, and the effects of climate change on people’s lives and livelihoods. It also emphasized the importance of adopting environmentally friendly practices and strengthening community responsibility in protecting natural resources.
The seminar further featured interactive discussions highlighting the role of youth and civil society organizations in promoting environmental awareness and contributing to sustainable solutions for environmental challenges, thereby helping to build a safer and more sustainable future for coming generations.
