Project “Enhancing of women leaders in the face of environmental and societal challenges”
The Shams Al-Anbar Organization for Women and Children (SHAO) organized its first dialogue session on February 23, 2025, bringing together decision-makers and women leaders. The session was held in partnership with Women for Women of the World, and with generous support from the UK’s International Development Fund, as part of the Women and Peace Project.
The session addressed environmental policies and climate change, with participants discussing the importance of involving women in developing environmental policies and their role in finding sustainable solutions to protect the environment and society. It also focused on ways to enhance cooperation between government agencies and civil society to ensure a sustainable environmental future.
