Shams Al-Insaniya Organization for Women and Children organized the first community listening session in Hit District on 24/12/2025, with the participation of returnee women and members of conflict-affected communities. The session aimed to collect direct testimonies reflecting the ongoing humanitarian and social challenges.
The session was held to provide a safe and responsible space to listen to women’s stories and experiences, and to highlight their needs in the areas of protection, psychosocial support, and economic empowerment opportunities, in a way that contributes to strengthening community stability and rebuilding trust.
The organization affirmed that documenting direct testimonies constitutes a fundamental step toward formulating realistic recommendations grounded in the voices of the affected women themselves, thereby ensuring women’s meaningful participation in shaping policies and initiatives related to recovery and peacebuilding.
