Conference – September 14, 2023, Al-Rasheed Hotel, Baghdad
At the kind invitation of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Shams Al-Anbar Organization participated in the conference held by the National Security Advisory for Countering Violent Extremism, in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), on “Addressing Climate Change to Prevent Violent Extremism.” The conference included several activities, including a presentation by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on the projects it has implemented in Iraq on climate change to prevent violent extremism, and a presentation of the conference’s recommendations and outcomes.
