The Shams Al-Anbar Organization for Women and Children participated in a four-day training workshop on “Developing Strategic Plans for Women’s Empowerment Programs” in Fallujah, Anbar. The workshop was implemented by the Baghdad Women’s Association and supported by CARE Iraq International. Civil society workers in Anbar Governorate, particularly those working in the field of women’s empowerment, participated in the workshop. The workshop aimed to train and build the capacity of civil society workers on the basic concepts of gender equality, the theory of change for women’s empowerment programs, and the steps and tools for developing strategic plans for women’s empowerment programs.
