Shams Al-Insaniya Organization for Women and Children, within the framework of the Bridges of Hope project, and in cooperation with the Subcommittee for Countering Violent Extremism in Salah al-Din Governorate, with the support of German Cooperation, organized a discussion session on 13/1/2026 entitled:
“Enhancing the Role of Youth in Community Stability and Countering Violent Extremism.”
The session witnessed broad and diverse participation, bringing together a distinguished group of activists and media professionals, large numbers of youth, as well as tribal leaders and several political figures from the governorate. This scene reflected the importance of community dialogue and the integration of roles among various stakeholders.
Participants’ interventions focused on the necessity of unifying efforts to support and empower youth, strengthening their pivotal role in confronting intellectual challenges, promoting a culture of tolerance, and consolidating the foundations of social peace and sustainable stability—recognizing youth as a fundamental pillar in building a safe and cohesive future for society.
