On February 8, 2026, Shams Al-Insaniya Organization held the first Strategic Advocacy Meeting and the Joint Follow-up Plan meeting in the city of Ramadi, with the participation of a group of women and decision-makers.
The meeting discussed the mechanisms for implementing the joint follow-up plan and ways to integrate women into advocacy processes, in order to enhance their effective participation in community issues and decision-making.
The meeting also addressed the formation of a local women’s follow-up network that will work to monitor community issues and strengthen communication with decision-makers, contributing to supporting advocacy efforts in a way that ensures sustainability and the continued promotion of women’s priorities in the implementation of peace.
