Coordination Meeting September 21, 2023 – Erbil!!
Dr. Suhad Al-Akidi, Chairwoman of the Shams Al-Anbar Organization for Women and Children, participated in the coordination meeting held by the Women’s Empowerment Organization, in partnership with the Search for Common Ground Organization, on September 21, 2023, in Erbil Governorate, Kurdistan Region.
To engage women’s rights organizations and women leaders with public networks on the women’s agenda within the Women, Youth, Peace and Security Program in Iraq.
To enhance the engagement of leading women’s organizations and women’s rights organizations with existing networks and alliances working at the national level to promote the women’s, peace and security agenda, the Women’s Empowerment Organization is holding coordination meetings aimed at strengthening ties between them.
The objectives of the coordination meeting include:
To engage and strengthen coordination between women’s rights organizations within the framework of this project and Iraqi networks working to implement the women’s, peace and security agenda.
To discuss developments, the monitoring and evaluation process, and the most important challenges facing the work of networks and women’s rights organizations in Iraq.
