Community listening session

Shams Al-Insaniya Organization for Women and Children organized two community listening sessions in Fallujah District on 27–28/12/2025, with the participation of returning women and a number of members of conflict-affected communities. The sessions aimed to collect direct testimonies reflecting the reality of the ongoing humanitarian and social challenges.

These sessions were held to provide a safe and responsible space to listen to the stories and experiences of women, and to highlight their needs in the areas of protection, psychosocial support, and economic empowerment opportunities, thereby contributing to strengthening community stability and rebuilding trust.

The organization emphasized that documenting direct testimonies is a fundamental step in formulating realistic recommendations based on the voices of the affected women themselves, ensuring their meaningful participation in shaping policies and initiatives related to the recovery and peacebuilding phase.
