Shams Al-Insaniya Organization for Women and Children held a two-day awareness workshop in the city of Ramadi on the risks of violent extremism, with support from Al-Masalla Organization.
This workshop came as part of the organization’s efforts to enhance community awareness and empower youth and women to understand the roots of extremism and how to prevent it within the community.
The training included interactive and discussion-based sessions that focused on developing critical thinking, supporting the values of coexistence, and strengthening individuals’ roles in promoting a culture of peace and rejecting violence.
This activity is part of the “Community -Driven Solutions” project implemented by Al-Masalla Organization in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and with support from the German and Danish governments
