Enhancing of women leaders in the face of environmental and societal challenges project
On March 6, 2025, the Shams Al-Anbar Organization for Women and Children (SHAO), in partnership with Women for Women Worldwide, and with generous support from the UK’s International Development Fund, implemented an initiative aimed at encouraging sustainable environmental behaviors among younger generations. 500 eco-friendly water bottles were distributed to primary school students, promoting a culture of reducing plastic use and raising awareness of the importance of preserving natural resources.
Our organization believes that building a sustainable future begins with education and enhancing environmental awareness among children, enabling them to become effective leaders in their communities.
