Launch of the “Partners in Peace” Project in Baghdad
We are pleased to announce the launch of the “Partners in Peace” project, in partnership with the Human for Humanity organization and with support from the United Nations Development Programme, to promote the values of peaceful coexistence and reduce community conflicts in Baghdad.
Through this project, we will empower young activists with the necessary skills and knowledge, open channels for community dialogue, and confront violent extremism through awareness-raising and the dissemination of moderate thought.
What are our activities?
Training courses for young activists on leadership and conflict management, dialogue sessions to enhance mutual understanding among community groups, a social media awareness campaign to combat hate speech, and distribution of field awareness materials to promote the values of civil peace and coexistence.
Location: Baghdad. Target Audience: Young activists, local communities, social media users, and community and religious leaders.
